Our journey began when Cyril, our founder, worked as a Product Manager for several international startups. During this time, he explored a range of tools available in the market, including Phrase, Crowdin, and Lokalise, aiming to offer their products in multiple languages. However, none of these tools fully met his expectations.
The problem with existing solutions is that they primarily target large enterprises. Their products are overly complex, filled with too many features, and come with a high price tag, not to mention the often non-existent support. SMBs typically use only about 10% of these software features, and sometimes, the functionalities they need are locked behind prohibitively expensive plans.
Recognizing the need for a streamlined tool to facilitate web and mobile app localization for SMBs, we set out to create the most efficient and user-friendly experience for this market segment. With a background in engineering and extensive product design experience, we focused our efforts on developing a product that is both simple and enjoyable to use.
